Enduring Traditions. Where the Alpine Homeland Meets British Heritage.
The silk scarves in this collection draw their strength from the deep sense of tradition held by the founders of Lamberty Munich. Shaped by many years of living and working both in the Bavarian Alpine foothills and in England, they are fascinated by the natural confidence with which both cultures celebrate tradition as a living part of everyday life. In a rapidly changing world, this constancy offers an invaluable point of calm, especially in the face of fast fashion. Cheap throwaway pieces give way to timeless silk scarves that, with the right care, become a loyal companion in your wardrobe.
Jowita Lamberty brings living tradition onto precious silk twill with a fine sensibility. She expresses this bond through floral elements of the Bavarian Alpine foothills, such as the nostalgic edelweiss, and through wild English meadows and well-tended gardens. The delicate sketches and drawings are transferred with the highest standards onto 100% pure mulberry silk.
Depending on the character of each design, the refined twill or satin weave is used. While the characteristic silk twill, with its fine ribbed structure, gives the scarf expressive body and a matt elegance, the fluid satin weave brings out the deep heritage colours with a liquid sheen. These precious pieces are made in Europe’s silk capital, Lake Como, where traditional Italian workshops finish every silk scarf with masterly precision.
Are you looking for a timeless accessory that combines cultural depth with the highest quality? Our silk scarves for traditional dress and country-house style add refined accents for a confident sense of style.
