A sense of home, captured forever in silk
Tracht, the traditional dress of Bavaria and the Alps, means home. For Lamberty Munich, it is belonging woven into fabric, a feeling of lived tradition and warm memories of moments long past. From this deep connection, Jowita Lamberty draws the inspiration for our Tracht scarves. Her hand-drawn designs carry the nostalgia of childhood and tell stories of playfulness and timeless beauty. They are dreamt up anew from a child's wonder at historic carousel horses and from a longing gaze at the majestic Alps with their wild, incomparably beautiful flowers.
European heritage was never meant to stay in Bavaria or the Alpine regions. Our scarves bring traditional charm to a business meeting, a night at the opera or a Sunday brunch, and they quietly show that craftsmanship, origin and lasting values still matter to you. Knotted over a trench coat, a cashmere sweater or a crisp white shirt, a Lamberty Munich scarf makes you stand out without ever trying too hard.
Every single motif is transferred with meticulous precision onto 100% pure mulberry silk. For our Tracht collection we use the refined twill weave. Its fine diagonal rib gives the carré expressive body and a matte, understated elegance. The scarf rests softly at the neckline of a tailored dirndl, ties elegantly around the wrist or becomes a modern highlight braided into traditional plaits.
Looking for a piece of Europe you can wear every day? Our scarves translate centuries of Alpine tradition into a modern accessory. Fold one into a classic choker, the way women in Bavaria have worn it for generations. Knot it at the neckline of a silk blouse or a blazer, or weave it into a braid. Discover your Alpine signature piece, designed in Munich and made in Italy in the silk tradition of Lake Como.
